(Sweet, Sassy & Always Classy)
Happy 20th
I Love You!

Today is Adelaide's birthday and we are going up to visit her at college to celebrate her big day. I can't believe that she is 20!
The years have really flown by.

She requested a Red Velvet Cake. We are eating lunch out with special friends and we will be joined by family members for dinner.
It will be a wonderful day of celebrating the birthday girl and making her feel so special. She is an amazing young lady!
She always has a beautiful smile, a sweet spirit, BIG blue eyes, a caring heart for others and a love for life. She also loves the Lord!
Adelaide,as you start out on your journey into being 20, here's hoping that the next decade is truly amazing for you. I wish you all the best!!
You are an incredible daughter and I am blessed to be your Mom and your best friend!!!
Love & blessings, MOM

  1. Please tell Adelaide "Happy Birthday" for me.

She sounds like a beautiful young lady...inside and out.

    Have fun!
P.S. Aren't daughters wonderful. Mine is my best friend too.

  2. This is so sweet! There is nothing more special than the bond between a mother and a daughter! Happy Birthday Adelaide!

  3. Aw thanks Mom! That was sweet. I'm excited you are coming here for the day! I need to go get off blogger so that when you get here I still don't have wet hair, ha! I love you!

  4. Happy birthday to your wonderful daughter! My 20th birthday was my favorite adult birthday thus far and it was also my golden birthday! I hope you all have the most wonderful day and enjoy your time together!!

  5. Have a great day with your daughter!

  6. Happy Birthday to your daughter. My "little girl" just turned 16 and is starting to drive...where did the years go? I can't help thinking as I sit next to her in the PASSENGER seat that something is wrong here...shouldn't she still be in a car seat??? Love your blog!

  7. Sharing Adelaide's birthday on Saturday was so fun. She is a precious lady. Thanks for sharing your daughter with me.

She is blessed to call you Mom

  8. I'll ask my friend to write the recipe down next time she makes those egg rolls. They are so yummy!

I know you're going to love the study of Esther. It just keeps getting better. More than likely our ladies aren't going to get to meet tonight. There's about an 80% chance of ice. Yuck.....snow I can drive in, ice...NOT!

Have a great day and I'll be anxious to hear about your study.

  9. I hope you had a great time!! It seems to have been a big birthday weekend, I know a lot of people that were celebrating! My youngest turned 12 on Thursday and we "slumber partied" on Friday. (all of the girls were here when we were having to deal with Cleo our dog - so hard!!) We tried to make it happy! Hope your weekend was uneventful but filled with a lot of love and laughter. I love you daughter's blog.

  10. Happy Birthday to Adelaide! I'm glad my Adeline is only 2! Sounds like a fun day!

  11. Happy Birthday to Adelaide--just love her name. Also, I've been meaning to tell you how precious I think it is to have a mother and daughter following my blog. Wasn't it funny that the two of you commented one right after the other! I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all! Thanks for joining me--both of you!

  12. Hi There! Hope Adelaide had a great birthday! I love painted wicker; either color will be pretty with her Shabby Chic Style, could even add a large ribbon around it! I've had good luck with American Traditions and Krylons but not sure of the color pinks available? I'm sure it will be pretty anyway, don't forget to share!!lol I can't wait to be able to spray paint again! The weather is cramping my decorating (painting)! Have a great night - Sincerely, Jeannette

  13. Happy Birthday to your daughter. She sounds like such a beautiful person and I love her name!

  14. Well Happy Birthday to her! I hope she has a great one. Came by to say "thanks for following!" You can never have enough friends! ;O)
