Adelaide, Lauren and I are leaving on Friday morning to go to Atlanta to attend Beth Moore's conference where she will be speaking on her new book, SO LONG INSECURITY! The conference will be all day on Saturday and there are 9,000+ women who will be attending.
On Friday, we are eating lunch at the famous Varsity Drive-in and then going to the Princess Diana exhibit. I can't wait to see her wedding dress. I remember getting up in the middle of the night to watch her wedding many years ago. I am so excited to see this exhibit.
Kelly (Harper's Mom) of Kelly's Korner is going to be there too and we are hoping to get to meet her at the conference. My girls and I have been blog friends with Kelly since before her baby was born. Hopefully we will get to meet up with each other.
I am so looking forward to spending the weekend with my sweet girls and hearing what the Holy Spirit has to say to us through Beth. She is an incredible speaker and I am so looking forward to hearing her message, listening to the praise and worship music of Travis Cottrell and his team and just being with all those precious Christian sisters in Christ. It will be a wonderful weekend!
You'll return on a spiritual high! A dear friend and a few of her church buddies just attended a B. Moore conference here in Tampa. I just loved reading their reports on their Facebook pages!

ReplyDeleteSusan and I went to the Princess Diana exhibit when we were in Atlanta for one of her wedding showers. It is wonderful. All her dresses are in it and lots of pictures of her. The keepsakes from her childhood and beyond were my favorite things. xoxo

Hope you had a great time! I think Kelly and some friends went to the Varsity to eat too! We ate there many years ago! I hope everyone had a fab time. I have talked briefly to Kelly and she said she did...but truthfully, most of our talk was about how Harper was doing!!
