Happy Valentine's Day! (again!!!)

My youngest daughter, Adelaide is single and I love the post she did about Valentine's Day. Please go to her blog, Sweet, Sassy, Southern and Classy and read the letter she posted about God's plan for your life from a single's perspective.
Whether you are single or not, I think you will find it very enlightening. You may have single family members who would benefit from reading this post as well.

Adelaide is an amazing young lady and I am so proud to be her Mother. I have told her that her "prince charming" is out there somewhere. God just has not introduced them yet. Adelaide truly loves the Lord and His light shines on all those who are around her. She has such a generous heart and is a very caring and giving person! Happy Valentine's Day sweet girl!!!

PS I also have another equally amazing daughter, Lauren. For those of you who have followed me for some time, you know how much my girls mean to me. They are the joys of my life!! Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Lauren!! I love you girls so much!

  3. My daughter is 28 and not yet married. I have hopes for her but I always tell her that she has to make her life happy by herself and what God plans for her will happen. She does live her life to the fullest! I'll read Adelaide's blog next..thanks!

    ♥ Happy St.Valentine's Day! ♥

  6. Hi, so nice to meet you. I’m Yoli, a fellow “Texas Blogging Gal”. I made it my goal to visit each member’s Blog. I don’t want to just “drive-thru” to meet a quota, but instead to share the gift of friendship that God gives us all. I’m excited to read your inspirational stories and see your creative works. You are always welcomed at my Apron Senorita Blog.

I can see God's blessing upon your family. Thank you for sharing. You have a beautiful blog.

    God Bless You!

  13. Your daughters are beautiful. You know, I didn't attend church Sunday b/c I have a young baby & the music is too loud, and I won't leave her yet, but...my husband said our Assoc. Pastor (who married the pastor's daughter) within the last year told how 2 years ago he was single, and a year ago they started dating and are now married, so, point is, it can happen quickly, she just has to keep the faith. When she least expects it...

BTW, I was reading your profile, and it could have been mine, except I don't teach and I don't knit or make cards...at least not yet. Take care.

Have a great Thursday:)

  16. Hello kind friend! It's always a pleasure visiting your blog. I can't say enough good things about your daughters. They were obviously raised by loving parents. Your words and theirs, are always full of hope, compassion and concern for others. Way to go Empty Nest! You did a great job!

  18. Oh how I remember that wait for Mr. Decor. He was so worth though. The Fashionista has also been waiting. I pray that our girls are richly blessed with special husbands someday.
