Lauren got married while in graduate school, but completed her Master's degree and got a wonderful job with a large accounting firm. I am so proud of her accomplishments and I know that she will go far in her field!
I hope you have a wonderful day, celebrating your 3 year anniversary and that you have many, many more happy years of marriage!
Adelaide just finished up her junior year in college on Tuesday and will begin an internship this coming Monday at a local children's hospital for 5 weeks. Adelaide is studying to be a Child Life Specialist. After her internship, she will work as a Nanny the rest of the summer.
Adelaide and her little dog, Holly.
I feel so blessed to have such sweet daughters, who have not only been my daughters, but are like my best friends. We enjoy spending time with each other and making memories together! It is a joy to celebrate with each of my girls today. I wish we could be with each other today, but I hope to see you both soon. Praying for you both on this joyous day!

What a beautiful post! My Thomas and I are high school sweethearts too and we will have dated 8 years when we get married! Isn't that funny!
ReplyDeleteYour daughters are truly blessed to have you as their mother!
Is Adelaide yet unhitched? I have a 21 year old, and he's a keeper! Don't you just love a total stranger trying to marry off your daughter to her son?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog this week and investing some of your time into my life. It's been a crazy week, and once life slows down (does that ever happen?), I hope to re-visit here and get to know you better. I thought I would be an empty-nester by now, but then I went and had two more children in my late 30's. I suppose I'll be ready for the "home" right about the time my youngest heads off to college. Have mercy and good gravy!
Blessings and peace~elaine
Your daughters are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch precious memories! Enjoy each and every day with them. Our daughters are so special......
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls! Daughters are special gifts from God. I tell mine all the time that God knew I would need her... and He was right. She is also my best friend. She calls me "Mom" most of the time, but I love it when she says "Mama" and she knows it. So, she says it often because she knows it makes me happy!
